Certification
An ISO (or other) certification relates to the activity you carry out for your client.
Certification is a useful tool which, by demonstrating that your product or service meets the expectations of your customers, strengthens your credibility. In certain sectors, it is even a legal or contractual obligation.
Certification – Written assurance (in the form of a certificate) given by a third party that a product, service or system conforms to specific requirements.
Accreditation – Formal recognition by an independent body, usually an accreditation body, that a certification body is competent to carry out certification. Accreditation is not obligatory but it is an additional guarantee of confidence. The so-called “accredited” certification body has been audited to ensure compliance with International Standards.
In addition, a certification process is structuring; it forces you to think about your organization and possibly review it to improve performance and reputation
